AIM Credit Union Scholarship

  • Five $1,000 Scholarships available
  • Any current AIM account member attending secondary school beginning in  the fall of 2026 is eligible
  • Winners chosen at random
  • Submissions due by 5:00 p.m. CST on 4/13/2026
  • Winners will be announced during AIM Credit Union’s 2025 Annual Meeting on 4/27/2026
  • All applicants will be notified within the week after the Annual Meeting, and a social media post will follow
  • Completed essays should be submitted via email to staff@aimcreditunion.com with the subject line: AIM Scholarship Essay; please include your name and phone number in the body of the email

To apply, write an essay of 500 words or less on the following subject: AIM Credit Union is a financial cooperative driven by the principle of ‘People Helping People.’ Share a personal instance when collaboration or teamwork directly helped you, your family, or your community achieve a goal. How does this cooperative spirit influence your view of financial success? How can AIM Credit Union help?

Warren A Morrow Scholarship

This application is for high school and post-high school students who will be enrolling in an accredited undergraduate, graduate or vocational program for the 2026-2027 school year. The application deadline is Friday, February 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM. In 500 words or less, please answer the following question:

Credit unions are financial cooperatives driven by the principle of ‘People Helping People.’ Share a story about a time when collaboration or teamwork helped you, your family, or your community achieve a goal. How does this cooperative spirit influence your view of financial success? How can your credit union help?

Incomplete, late, or hard copy applications will not be considered. Applicants must be a current member of an Iowa credit union with an account in their own name.

Winners will be notified in April 2026 and their names will be posted to the ICUF website by May 2026.

All submitted applications are the property of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation and could be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Please direct questions to info@iowacreditunionfoundation.org.

Jack Schumacher
